One Theme’s backend is so powerful that it requires absolutely no web design experience, which means absolutely no hacking around in files you don’t understand. Sporting an unrivalled list of features, and rock solid stability, its easy to understand why purchasing One Theme is the popular choice for professional web masters. Don’t believe us? We’re so confident that we will offer you a free three day trial to decide for yourself!
These are the words that describe a new premium Wordpress design called “One-Theme”. One-theme takes it a step up from just a Wordpress theme, and adds a plug-in backend control panel. So, just like in the description, you don’t need to know html to change the theme to your liking, just add a few details and it does it for you!
Notable Features
- Easy ad spots - One-theme has built in spots so you can easily add advertisements right into the theme. It has the option to let you put in your google adsense publisher id, or just to directly add html.
- Featured Video Spot - Pick out your favorite video from youtube, input the link into the plugin, and watch your sidebar get updated with a featured video!
- Easy Feedburner Integration - Input your feedburner url and id, and watch as the sidebar accommodates with an e-mail subscription form and changed it’s rss links to your feedburner url.
- 5 colors - Easily switch between the red, black, blue, green, and pink versions of one-theme!
- Featured post - Pick out your most important post, and strut it on top of the page as a featured post!
- Hot conversation sidebar module - Automatically show thumbnail images for the 4 most discussed topics on your blog!
- Easy image switcher - There’s also a built-in image switcher to easily change your logo, footer logo, header background, and page background
There are many more features, which can be found on the one-theme website.
Demo/Does it work?:
Yes, of course! You’re looking at it right now! As you can see, I have the featured video, ad spots, and hot conversation mod disabled, as my site is lacking any real content at the moment.
Do I recommend it?:
If you’re willing to make a serious investment in starting a blog, YES. It’s easy to use, looks professional, and isn’t encoded so if you wish to make html adjustments, you still have that control.

Here is an example comment. As you can see, the comments have a very slick and solid look to them.

I am just starting with One-Theme and I have to say the support I receive is wonderful. I am new to WP so sub-menus and category hierarchy still baffles me. I am aiming to get http://www.etoiledumatin.ca working inside 2 days from scratch - the learning curve is steep!

The learning curve may be steep, but the hill overall isn’t so tall

I would not purchase this product, it does not work as advertised and they do not give refunds, instead they become hostile towards you for asking for a refund!

In defense, One-Theme is advertised as a Wordpress enhancement theme, not a Wordpress MU enhancement theme, so in truth, as long as your hosting can run Wordpress 2.5 or higher, and has php 5 enabled, it does indeed work as advertised (give or take a few bugs).
I’m not sure about this hostility, unless you mean the pm I sent you on the forums leading you to the contact form. Anything beyond that point is out of my area.
Perhaps you’d like to give us an example of this ‘hostility’?
